Please be advised that this entity maintains no formal affiliation with the Crown. We operate as an independent party, and our display of national flags is conducted under private auspices, signifying no endorsement by or representation of the sovereign authority.

2. Dialect Translations
These translations reflect the Brighton & Hove, Manchester, Newcastle upon Tyne, Leeds, Bristol, Liverpool, Glasgow, Belfast, Wrexham, and Cardiff direct and surround areas dialects. We recognize that linguistic variations exist within the community, and this text may not capture every local nuance.
3. Ongoing Revision
This is a living document. While every effort has been made to ensure accuracy, we constantly seek to improve the current and future editions.
4. Source Text Reference
These translations were adapted from Aramaic as the Old Testament was scribed in, and The Koine Greek as the New Testament was scribed in. In instances of linguistic ambiguity, users are encouraged to consult the original biblical languages.
5. Non-Ecclesiastical Status
This app is a resource for study and reflection and does not represent the official stance of any specific denomination or church body.
6. Historical Context: The texts contained herein are ancient documents. Some descriptions of historical events or cultural practices are provided for accuracy to the source material and do not necessarily reflect modern societal standards or the views of the developers.
7. Sensitive Content Advisory: Users are advised that certain passages contain mature themes, including historical accounts of conflict and violence.
8. Disclaimer of Warranty: This software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any technical interruptions or data loss occurring during the use of the application.
9. Intellectual Property: The software interface, branding, and original localized content are the intellectual property of Geezers & Geezettes™️.
10. Proprietary assets: All localized communication interfaces, data collection methodologies, and associated digital features are the exclusive proprietary assets of Geezers & Geezettes™️. This project, including all constituent functional elements, is protected under applicable intellectual property laws. Any unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or use of these features without express written consent from the trademark holder is strictly prohibited. The local chat collection framework and its comprehensive suite of integrated features are owned and operated by Geezers & Geezettes™️. As the sole proprietary developer, Geezers & Geezettes™️ retains all rights, titles, and interests in the technology and branding associated with this platform, ensuring the integrity and quality of the user experience through trademarked excellence.
11. User-Generated Content Liability: Any notes or reflections created by users within the app are the sole responsibility of the author. Local Chat Collections does not endorse and is not responsible for user-generated interpretations or content shared via the platform.
12. Government/State Independence: LOCAL CHAT COLLECTION is a private, independent initiative. It is not sponsored by, affiliated with, or endorsed by any government entity, national body, or the Crown. The use of national symbols or flags within the app is intended for geographical or linguistic identification purposes only.
13. Right to Modify: We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any such modification or discontinuance.
14. No Requirement Disclaimer (Spiritual/ Medical/Legal): The content provided within this application is for spiritual and educational purposes. It does not constitute medical, legal, or financial requirements that coincide with your local government. Users should consult with qualified professionals for specific guidance in those areas.
15. Localization Status: As the local dialects continue to evolve in written form, this text represents a snapshot of current linguistic scholarship. Standardized spelling and grammar are subject to future updates as community consensus develops.
16. Content We Own: LOCAL CHAT COLLECTION is a project of GEEZERS & GEEZETTES™️. Except for your User Content (i.e script art, banter free notes, highlights, and Bangin' script), all of the content on our Services, including text, software, scripts, code, designs, graphics, sounds, music, videos, applications, interactive features, articles, news stories, sketches, animations, stickers, and other content, is owned by Geezers & Geezettes™️ or our licensors and is protected by trademark and other laws. Content is part of the services, and you may only use the services as expressly permitted by these Terms. Geezers & Geezettes™️ reserves all rights not expressly granted to you in these Terms.
17. Trademarks and Trade Names: The LOCAL CHAT COLLECTION name, the shield design, our other logos, product or service names, slogans, and the look of the Products and Services are trademarks, trade dress, or trade names owned or licensed by Geezers & Geezettes™️, and may not be copied, imitated, or used, in whole or in part, without our prior written permission. You do not acquire a licence or any ownership rights to any trademarks, or trade names through your access or use of the Services. Do not change, obscure, or delete any ownership or proprietary notices appearing in the Services, including materials downloaded or printed from the Services.
18. User Content - Content You Submit: Some parts of the services allow you and other users to create, post, store, share, or otherwise provide content including photos, videos, and text. Geezer & Geezettes™️ is not responsible for User Content. Except for the licence you grant Geezers & Geezettes™️ , as between you and Geezers & Geezettes™️, you retain all rights in and to your User Content, excluding any portion of the services included in your User Content.
19. License to use: You grant Geezers & Geezettes™️ and its subsidiaries and affiliates a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide and fully paid licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, publicly or otherwise perform and display, and use your Published User Content (i.e published script art and screenshots on social platforms), including the likeness of any person that appears in the Published User Content and any of the concepts or ideas contained in the Published User Content, for any purpose, including commercial uses, in all media formats and channels now known or later developed without compensation to you or any third party. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you hereby irrevocably waive any third party. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you hereby irrevocably waive any “moral rights" or other rights with respect to attribution of authorship or integrity of materials regarding your Published User Content that you may have under any applicable law or under any legal theory.
20. Right to user content: You represent and warrant that your User Content, and our use of such Published User Content as permitted by these Terms, will not violate any rights of any person or entity, including any third-party rights, or cause injury to any person or entity.
21. Feedback and ideas: We typically do not review unsolicited suggestions, ideas, feedback, or other materials that you post, submit, or otherwise communicate to us about our Services, Products, or Experiences (collectively, "Feedback"). However, any Feedback you send us is provided on a non-confidential basis and you grant Geezers & Geezettes™️ and its subsidiaries and affiliates a licence to use such Feedback for any purpose, commercial or otherwise, without compensation or acknowledgement to you, including, but not limited to, for the purpose of developing, manufacturing, and marketing products and services.
22. User code of conduct: We are excited to have you contribute to the LOCAL CHAT COLLECTION community. However, you are solely responsible for your conduct while using our Services or Products or participating in our Experiences and you must comply with the following rules: Be Yourself. Do not impersonate or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organisation, including Geezers & Geezettes™️ employees. Only interact with the Services as yourself for personal, non-commercial purposes. This means that you may not: Use or attempt to use another user's account; Post any advertising, solicitations, or commercial content on the Services or accept payment from a third party in exchange for performing commercial activity on the Platform; or Collect or solicit personal information from other users for any reason, including to send, distribute, or post spam, unsolicited, or bulk messages. Be Original. Do not create, post, store, or share any User Content if you do not have all the rights necessary to grant us the licence described above. Be Safe. Take precautions when interacting with other users (including users you do not know) on the Services. Before you meet another user face-to-face, consider investigating, bringing a friend, choosing public locations and letting someone know where you will be. Be Considerate. Do not do anything that may expose Geezers & Geezettes™️ ', LOCAL CHAT COLLECTION or its users to any type of harm. This means that you may not: Do anything that may disrupt, damage, disable, tamper with, overburden or limit the functionality of the Services; Post User Content that contains software viruses, malware, adware, or other malicious computer code, or circumvent or modify any Platform software or security technology; or Create, post, or share User Content that contains any private or personal information of any third party without that third party's consent. Unless we indicate otherwise, our Platform is a public place. Be Respectful. You may only use the Services for their intended and authorised purposes. This means that you may not: Rent, lease, loan, sell, or resell our Services or related data without our consent; Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, decipher, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code for our Services or any related technologies that are not open source; Develop or use any application or automated technology, other than as approved by Geezers & Geezettes™️ ', to interact with the Services; Ignore instructions contained in our files or bypass measures employed to prevent or limit access to any part of the Services; Use any data mining, robots, scraping, or similar data gathering methods to access, use, scrape, or extract content or data from the Services; or Use any content, data, or information from the Services or derived from the Services to develop, create, train, test, fine-tune, prompt, benchmark, or otherwise improve or validate (i) any machine learning or artificial intelligence tools, models, systems, algorithms, or products, or (ii) any other technologies. Be Appropriate. Respect the community and do not post User Content, link to a website, or do anything that is illegal, misleading, malicious, harassing, inaccurate, discriminatory, or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate or which violates any applicable laws. Geezers & Geezettes™️ has the right to prescreen, monitor, or remove User Content. However, enforcement of this Section is solely at Geezers & Geezettes™️'s discretion, and failure to enforce this Section in some instances Be Appropriate. Respect the community and do no it in other instances.
23. Copyright Infringement: Geezers & Geezettes™️ has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users found to infringe the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that any Content on the Services infringes a copyright that you own or control, you may provide us with written notification at the address set forth below. Please see Copyright, Designs and Patents Act ("CDPA") for the requirements of a proper notification. If your complaint fails to provide everything specified in the CDPA, we may be unable to act on it. Please consult your legal advisor before filing a notice of copyright infringement with us because there may be penalties for false claims.
24. Release: To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you, for yourself and on behalf of your heirs, estate, insurers, successors, and assigns, hereby fully and forever release and discharge the Geezers & Geezettes™️ Parties from any and all claims or causes of action you may have for damages arising from or relating to these Terms, the Services, Products, or Experiences.
25. Bible Institution Affiliation: While we are deeply committed to our mission, it is important to clarify for the record that we do not operate under the umbrella of a traditionally recognized or "Bible-documented" institutional framework. The LOCAL CHAT COLLECTION project represents an independent undertaking, spearheaded and managed outside the jurisdiction of official denominational oversight. We maintain full operational sovereignty in all our endeavors. Disclaimer of Affiliation: LOCAL CHAT COLLECTION is an independent project of Geezers & Geezettes™️ and is not officially sanctioned, endorsed, or documented by any external religious governing body. This project has been initiated and maintained through independent auspices; consequently, no formal ecclesiastical recognition is implied or should be inferred.
26. Third-Party Media Access and Data Sovereignty In accordance with platform-specific privacy protocols (e.g., ios NSPhotoLibraryAddUsage Description), LOCAL CHAT COLLECTION may request authorization to modify the device's local media storage. This permission is utilized solely to facilitate the 'Save to Photos' and 'Pop to socials / WhatsApp' functionality. LOCAL CHAT COLLECTION disclaims any collection, storage, or secondary processing of the user's photographic data. No telemetry or image-based metadata is uploaded to the developer's infrastructure, ensuring all created assets remain under sole custody and control of the user.
27. Third-Party Social Platform Links The Application contains links to third-party websites or services (including but not limited to Instagram, TikTok, and WhatsApp) that are not owned or controlled by Geezers & Geezettes™️ Geezers & Geezettes™️ has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. You acknowledge and agree that Geezers & Geezettes™️ shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any such content, goods, or services available on or through any such third-party websites or services. We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party websites or services that you visit.
28. Script Art: The Application provides functionality to share user-generated content to third-party social media platforms. Please note that once content is shared outside of the Application, it is subject to the privacy policies and terms of the respective third-party platform (e.g., Meta's Data Policy or TikTok's Privacy Policy).

1. Our Commitment
We value your privacy. This policy explains how your data is handled when you use our app to read and study scripture. We aim to keep things simple and transparent—no hidden tracking, just the features you need.
2. Data Storage & Privacy
To provide you with a personalized experience while maintaining total privacy, we handle data as follows:
• Local Storage: Your verse highlights, personal notes, and bookmarks are stored directly on your device.
• Anonymous ID: A unique, anonymous ID is assigned to your specific app instance. This ensures your notes remain private to you and are not shared with other users.
• No Cloud Sync: Because we do not require a login or account, your data is not currently synced across multiple devices. If you delete the app or switch to a new device without a full system backup, your local notes will be reset.
3. Device Information
We collect basic, non-identifiable information like your OS version and device type to ensure the app runs smoothly and to help us fix any technical bugs.
4. How We Use Firebase
We use Google Firebase as our backend infrastructure to support the app’s functionality. While Firebase is used for data storage, your personal notes and highlights remain tied only to your anonymous device ID.
5. Security
Data is encrypted both while it is traveling to the server and while it is sitting on the server. We take industry-standard precautions to keep your anonymous ID and local data secure.
6. Your Privacy Rights (GDPR & UK Laws)
Because we value our users, we comply with the UK GDPR. We do not sell your notes, highlights, or any other data to third parties.
7. Right to Erasure
You can delete your data at any time. Simply use the "Delete My Data" button within the app settings, and we will wipe your records from the database.
8. Access
You can view all the data we have (your notes and highlights) simply by using the app. Since there is no profile, your data is always right there in front of you.
